Emily offers art instruction for adults, teens and children at her studio in Tarrytown, NY, located at 1 Central Ave. Suite 302. Sliding scale pricing is available upon request for all of Emily’s classes to ensure affordability for all students.
Classes for Adults and Teens
Emily teaches representational drawing and oil painting for portrait, figure, landscape, and still life. Adults and teens of all experiences levels are welcome in these classes.
Private Lessons for Teens and Children are $30/hr. Sliding scale pricing and scholarship opportunities are available!
These sessions are personalized and can be a good introduction for teens before entering a group class. Private lessons can also be used for portfolio building.

Kid's lessons
Children of all ages can also take private lessons. Liz Golden co-instructs these classes, which are centered around each child’s individual interests and needs. Projects can include drawing, painting, crafts, sculpture, and multimedia. Most importantly we want to encourage fun, creativity, and prioritizing the joy of process and experimentation.
